Light Smokey Eye - Spring Makeup Tutorial

Look fierce with our step-by-step tutorial of a light, smokey eye.

Step 1: Start with sweeping the lightest matte shade all over your eyelid up to your browbone.

Step 2: Take a matte medium shade and blend it through your crease to your liking, it doesn't have to be neat.

Step 3: Take a slightly darker shade of your choice and concentrate it in your crease and outer half of the eye, more precise this time, and blend to your liking.

Step 4: Take the darkest shade you're using and place it in the outer v of the eye and blend.

Step 5: Take a light shimmery eyeshadow or highlighter and place it on the eyelid, but not where you put the dark colors.

Step 6: Touch up anything that was taken or blended away.

Step 7: Take the first matte medium shade and smudge it all along the lower lashline.

Step 8: Use the second color and do the same, but only halfway along the lower lashline.

Step 9: Take the darkest shade and put it only on the outer edge of the lashline.

Step 10: Finally, blend and add eyeliner and mascara
